Examination Board (Prüfungsausschuss)
The Examination Board is the highest body in examination matters. It
- makes decisions on a case-by-case basis if you wish to deviate from your examination regulations (Prüfungsordnung);
- transfers credits acquired outside of HU (e.g. ERASMUS+, semesters abroad, previously acquired credits at other universities);
- coordinates examination periods and dates;
- issues implementation regulations; and
- is first port of call in the event of a disputed exam outcome.
Examination Office (Prüfungsbüro)
The Examination Office is responsible for
- maintaining student accounts, which can be viewed in AGNES;
- maintaining examination files;
- booking grades;
- exam registrations;
- issuing certificates for the Bafög office, internships, etc.;
- issuing Bachelor and Master certificates; and
- assisting with all exam-related topics and problems.
